Event delivery

The agency has been appointed to deliver events including a four-week international roadshow for HSBC, a 600-delegate event for Burger King in September, and two European events for GE Capital in October/November.

MCI UK sales director Marcus Naef said the agency had a "very clear strategy to focus on sectors like finance and IT, and that is starting to pay off".

Creative services team

He added that the launch of a creative services team - headed by creative director Dom Garner - had helped in "pursuing big brands".

"It is a really exciting time for us," said Naef. "The new relationships will see us work across a range of projects that include roadshows, brand activation events, internal conferences, a sponsorship sales and generation programme, thought-leadership events product launches, and an annual convention."

VMware project

MCI has already managed a series of 42 events across 23 countries over six weeks for new client VMware this summer and MCI UK director of meetings and events Martin Richardson said: "Having all the specialist services in-house allowed us to work with VMware to help structure the project strategy, create the event vision and manage multiple events across an EMEA-wide platform."

In total the project attracted 15,932 attendees, an increase of 20.4% from the previous year.
