The 378-room Crowne Plaza hotel has a dedicated meetings venue – The Event Centre – and is 2km from Doha International Airport.

The globe-shaped Event Centre has 2,416sqm of events space spread through seven meeting rooms.

The largest meeting space at the new hotel is its 444sqm Al Falak room, which can accommodate up to 400 delegates theatre-style, or 450 for a reception.

Other event spaces range from the Hidayah room, for 12 in boardroom-style, to the first-floor Manar room, for up to 450 reception guests.

The hotel has six restaurants and bars, a spa, fitness centre and business centre.

Construction began in mid 2009, and the hotel was inaugurated yesterday (20 August) by H.E. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Bin Abdullah Al Thani.
