Aveva was looking for a venue that would provide a memorable experience, as well as offering exceptional quality and service. It worked together with DF Venues on the event.

"The venue exceeded my expectations - it had the 'wow' factor for our visitors and presented an excellent balance between a conference setting, a great networking environment and entertainment for our customers," says Gary Patterson, UK & Ireland country manager at Aveva. "From the start, the building made a striking impression on visitors."

The Aveva World UK User Meeting is an annual event that attracts end users, computer-aided design coordinators and engineering managers. It aims to offer insight from the UK's oil and gas, power, marine and plant industries, alongside product expertise from both Aveva and its customers. Over the two days, 120 delegates attended a series of customer presentations, product workshops, hands-on product tutorials and technical updates showcasing a range of innovative industry developments. They also shared best practice and had the opportunity to network.

"The amazing cars, the notable racing history of the venue, the race track and simulator all combined to create a truly unique and memorable venue," adds Patterson.
