As a result of the acquisition, SO Group chief executive Steve Barratt will become president and 360’s David Walley (pictured) becomes group chief executive of SO Group.

360 Creative Event Services will keep its name and David Harding will continue as chief executive. 360, whose clients include Silverstone, Cheltenham, PGA, LTA and Merlin Entertainments was established by Walley and Harding in Spring 2010.

Barratt said: "360 is the perfect fit for SO Group. This builds exactly on the vision outlined at the launch of SO Group 18 months ago. 360’s expertise and client base are complementary to SO Group’s and they share our values of quality service, design and creativity."

Walley added: "Two years ago, when we created 360, we had ambitious plans. This deal is the culmination of those plans and SO Group is the natural home for 360.  I am looking forward to my new role, these are exciting times. SO Group is committed to delivering the best services and having the best people. We will continue to explore new markets and opportunities."
