European biomechanics society selects Prague for 2015

The European Society of Biomechanics has selected Prague for the 21st European Congress of Biomechanics (ESB) in 2015.

Bids were presented at the Annual Board Meeting held during the 18th Congress of the European Society of Biomechanics in Lisbon, which took place on 1-4 July 2012.

The congress is excepted to attract around 1,000 delegates.

All services associated with the organisation of the congress will be provided by the company CZECH-IN.

The European Society of Biomechanics was founded in Brussels in 1976 and is now the largest biomechanical society in Europe with more than 750 members.

Lenka ┼Żlebková, director of Prague Convention Bureau, said: "We are very pleased to have worked with the Czech biomechanical society from the very beginning of the entire project and thus we could significantly contribute to the candidacy."
