Boughton, who is leaving to pursue other opportunities, said that she will miss the people at Wembley Stadium and being involved with a "great and iconic venue".

Before joining the stadium's team in 2004, Boughton was a freelancer. Her responsibilities at Wembley included the creation, implementation and management of the sales and marketing functions for non-event day space at the new Stadium.

Boughton has also worked with a variety of associations including the HBAA (Hotel Booking Agents Association) as PR consultant, and has been an active member of both the European Tour Operators Association (ETOA) and a former Board member of UK Inbound (formerly British Incoming Tour Operators Association).

Boughton's last day at Wembley will be Friday 17 August. Enquiries after this date are being directed to Amir Vered, the venue's senior sales manager.
