
Timmins has worked in sales for more than ten years for businesses including Universal Music UK, Macdonald Hotels and Resorts and Leeds United Football Club.
Moss joins Sheffield United Football Club from Luminar Leisure, and has previously worked at Park Plaza Hotel Leeds and Accor Hotels.
The two business development managers – who join Lime Venue Portfolio's 90-strong sales team – are responsible for selling Leicester City and Sheffield United’s meetings and events spaces to the corporate and agency market, account manage the venues’ key accounts, and increase the profile of both venues in local and regional markets.
Lime Venue Portfolio head of sales Jo Austin said: "There is a lot going on at the moment in the Midlands, as the region benefited greatly from Olympic displacement. Steve and Stewart’s accomplished sales expertise will play a key role in maintaining our increase in market share."
Austin added that both venues are expecting some large meetings in the second quarter of 2012.
Leicester City Football Club will host the NHS Midlands & East for three meetings in September, October and November, each for 250 delegates, with a fourth for 450 delegates in December.
Meanwhile, Sheffield United Football Club is hosting a conference for a government supplier on 20-23 August, which will be attended by 500 delegates.
