Speedo has hosted a VIP hospitality area at Forman's Fish Island's Riviera during the 2012 Games, and we have pictures from the East London venue.

The swimwear brand hired Forman's, which is located opposite the Olympic Park, for hospitality and events during the Games' 17-day period. It has taken over over two adjoining suites, totalling 240sqm, and is using the venue to cater for corporate guests as well as swimming athletes.

Lance Forman, managing director of Forman’s Fish Island, said: "The feedback from Speedo and all the corporates that have come here has been fantastic. Speedo is taking great advantage of our world class offering, which is helping showcase the East of London."

The space features palm trees, moored yachts and cocktails - served at a dedicated Beach Club bar. David Robinson, president of Speedo International said: "With many of our clients, partners and stakeholders set to converge on London this year, it was vital for us to find a base which combines a stunning and memorable location, coupled with top class catering and service. We’re delighted to have secured all of those things with Forman’s Fish Island Riviera."

The Cannes-themed event space was built as an alternative to the 'living room' event space, which failed to gain planning permission. Our pictures from Speedo at Forman's Fish Island are here.
