The neo-classical Thames-side venue, home of the Brazilian Olympic Committee and Rio 2016 during London 2012, is set up to promote Brazil and Brazilian sport in the heart of the capital.
Casa Brasil at London 2012 provides a destination for Brazilian trade, investment and tourism agencies to network.
All of the venue’s 12 events spaces are being utilised to accommodate The Comite Olimpico Brasileiro (COB) with The Portico Rooms and The Navy Board Rooms used privately by the COB to host intimate parties and house the Rio 2016 Olympic Committee Offices.
The floor and walls in the venue’s Great Arch Lobby have been transformed to mirror a Brazilian beach. The lobby located on the Victoria Embankment level of the building is used by Rio 2016 as an informal "Rio Lounge", accessible to visitors looking for information.
