C&IT took a tour of P&G's Olympic Family Home at Vinopolis. Part of the Thank You Mum" campaign, the venue is designed to provide mums and families of more than 10,000 Olympians around the world a "home away from home" during the Olympic Games.

The venue has been transformed to offer an Ariel laundry service, Pampers Play Village for kids, mums relaxation area offering Cover Girl and Olay beauty treatments, communal areas to relax and viewing areas to watch the Games, as well as a restaurant serving complimentary meals.

A series of themed regional evening events are also being run at the house, including Brazil night and Russia night to bring athletes and their families from these destinations together to celebrate.

The "Thank-you mum" campaign is the first time P&G has brought all of its brands together under the one umbrella - they are usually marketed separately.

P&G's brands sponsor more than 150 athletes that are competing at the 2012 Games.
