Despite the drop, key conferences and incentives are continuing to take place, although budgets remain an issue.
Ryman director of public relations Tina Fotherby told C&IT: "Conferences and incentives are such an important part of what we do. We buy keenly, but budgets have remained stable." However, she warned, transparent pricing is crucial: "Given the climate, there are no excuses for hidden surprises - everyone needs to be precise about costs."
