Bean, who will report to ATPI Group chief operating officer for Europe and the US, Peter Muller, will have responsibility for the Corporate & Marine Travel, ATP Select and Passport & Visa businesses housed within ATPI's London office. He is also charged with developing the group’s client services.

ATPI assistant operations manager Chris Medland will succeed Bean as London general manager.

Graham Ramsey, ATPI’s chief executive, said: "ATPI is dedicated to continuing our dynamic growth within the UK marketplace and in his new role as general manager for the UK business operations, Simon will both manage the team and grow the company’s existing service offering.

"The promotion of Simon reaffirms the ATPI Group’s commitment to investing in our own people and we’re confident that he will continue to lead the business into new areas of growth."
