The official corporate hospitality provider for the Olympic Games - a joint venture between Sodexo and the Mike Burton Group – revealed last year that it was investing £9.5m in the temporary venue, which will be used only for the duration of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The Prestige Pavilion is three storeys high, incorporates six restaurants and a huge glass atrium featuring an Olympic-themed statue, and has an overall capacity for up to 3,000 people.

Andrew Burton, chief executive of Prestige Ticketing, and Alan Gilpin, chief operating officer, joined Lord Coe at an official media launch event.
