The event will take place in the venue's Riverside Room and will be attended by MPs, government officials and key industry delegates.

Britain for Events has been endorsed by John Penrose MP, minister for Tourism & Heritage, and is supported by Nick de Bois MP, chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Events and the Business Visits & Events Partnership's chairman Michael Hirst.

"The launch will see the unveiling of this year’s campaign, with a clear message from the UK events industry to business and government," said Hirst, spokesperson for the campaign. "This is a massive year for UK events and we are already showing ourselves to be global masters in business, cultural, sporting and entertainment spectacles, and with the right support we can be even better."

The UK events industry has also made its way into the Great Britain campaign, with an ‘Events are Great Britain’ creative developed following discussions with the Britain for Events campaign.
