China Telecom (Europe) hosted more than 200 Chinese and UK delegates at a high tech launch party, at which individual pods were created around the side of the hall and LED panels around the balcony.
Guests including the Chinese ambassador to the UK H.E. Ambassador Liu Xiaoming and Lord Green of Hurstpierpoint, the minister of state for Trade and Investment.
Lucy Walker, acting sales and events manager at LSO St Luke’s, said: "It was great to see how our venue can be transformed from a space usually associated with the LSO and its musical activities into something innovatively high tech. We were delighted by the decision of China Telecom (Europe) to hold their launch ceremony at LSO St Luke’s and it is a testament to the hard work of the venue’s whole team that the event ran so smoothly."
LSO St Luke’s is an 18th century Grade I listed Hawksmoor church available for award ceremonies, receptions, gala dinners and conferences.
