The banking giant, which encompasses brands including Halifax, Cheltenham & Gloucester and Intelligent Finance, is expected to decide which agencies will be on its roster by the end of July.

Lloyds Banking Group's head of group events Karen Sawyer said that she expects event numbers and event spend to be reduced in the coming year in line with financial pressures in the banking sector.

"All of our agencies will have to pitch again for a chance to be re-selected for our roster. We use agencies including DRP Group and Logistik, and Aspect has also worked with us on our AGMs. Meanwhile, Mongoose has produced work for Halifax in the past," she added.

Logistik's work with Lloyds included two conferences in Birmingham last year for Lloyds TSB UK Retail Banking and Lloyds TSB Commercial.

DRP Group produced the Back to School event last year for 90 Lloyds delegates and 750 school pupils. Aspect produced events including its inaugural leadership convention for 5,000 employees at Birmingham's LG Arena in March last year.
