Fiat and Armani are among the brands to have a presence at The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre (QEIICC), as sponsors of the Italian National Olympic Committee's (CONI) Casa Italia.

The London venue is being transformed into a hospitality hub, a space that will host the Italian delegation for the Olympics and Paralympic Games.

Sue Etherington, QEIICC’s commercial director, said: "With under three months to go, we are working very closely with CONI, and the plans for transforming The QEIICC into Casa Italia are going well.

"It is very exciting to see the involvement of these high profile global brands with CONI and Casa Italia, and to work with them on their plans to transform the Centre into a unique Casa Italia for the London 2012 Games."

Fiat’s sponsorship will see its vehicles parked outside the venue, which will be used to transport athletes; while EA7 Emporio Armani is the official outfitter of the team. Intesa San Paolo is the main sponsor of the Italian team for the London 2012 Games.
