Albert's managing director John Saunders told C&IT that he has no immediate plans to replace Day and is focusing on realigning the agency to embark on social media and experiential opportunities.
"We wish Cameron all the best, he's been great to work with. We're currently busy on both sides of the business [Albert and high-end travel consultancy Exosphere] on a variety of projects," he added.
Day, who was appointed at Albert in March last year, will join The Marketing Store's team next week. Before Albert, he was global business development director at Iris Worldwide for four years, and before that, business development director at RPM.
The Marketing Store's corporate clients include Britvic Robinsons and Vodafone.
