Clearwater Association Management is the brainchild of Stephen Morton-Prior, who launched the agency in September and was formerly an account director at MCI.

The new management services include full secretariat support, strategic consultancy, event management, marketing and communication services, as well as assistance with technology and social media.

Morton-Prior said: "We have already received a lot of interest; one association in particular has more than 10,000 members. I think our agency appeals because we offer bespoke solutions that fit associations like a glove. We assess what they need and provide full management support or 'plug-in' services. They can also benefit from our agreements with suppliers.

"The team comprises two key figures in the association events market who will drive the services forward. There is a significant demand for support on how to embrace technology, social media and marketing. Our aim is to provide associations with the expertise to set strategy for short-term growth and long-term success."
