Google, John Lewis and Cisco to speak at Internet World

Brands including Google, John Lewis, Yahoo and Cisco are lined up to speak at this month's Internet World at Earls Court, which is expected to attract 12,000 delegates.

Speakers at the event, which takes place from 24-26 April, include Phil Smith, chief executive of Cisco UK and Ireland, Google Mobile UK director Ian Carrington, Microsoft Advertising commercial director Simon Davies and John Lewis head of online Jonathan Brown.

Organised by UBM, the event will feature new additions, including an Innovation Village showcasing pioneering products and ideas for digital busiesses, while 'Mpod' areas will demonstrate the latest mobile technology.

Andy Kiwanuka, UBM's group event manager, said: "We are absolutely thrilled with the quality of the programme at Internet World 2012. The line-up features some of the best speakers and most influential names in our industry today. With the additional experts speaking at the seven other theatres around the show, this is without doubt our best ever speaker programme yet.

"With more than 300 international exhibitors and over 12,000 visitors expected to take advantage of free admission, Internet World is a must-attend show for e-business professionals."
