The Master Class concept, launched in the UK in 2010, will make its Asian foray in May, at events in Delhi and Mumbai. Each city will host two sessions in one day, attracting about 250 delegates each. Subsequent sessions will be held in other markets in the region.
The educational events are aimed at helping businesses to develop their online presence and better reach Tripadvisor's 50 million unique monthly online visitors, as well as enabling property owners to engage with Tripadvisor staff.
Steve Eakins, Live Union's managing director, said: "Working with a powerful digital brand like Tripadvisor to create face-to-face meetings with the travel industry across EMEA and Asia Pac territories is a huge opportunity for us."
Betsy Croft, Tripadvisor's events manager, said: "Given the global success of our Master Class series, we're excited to be bringing the popular events to the Asia Pacific region."
