Adding Value has been appointed to handle the UK element of the project, which is being orchestrated by Peugeot Citroen Network Training in Coventry. The roll-out comes in an important year for both brands: Peugeot is launching its 208 and 3008 Hybrid4 models and Citroen will unveil its DS5 and DS5 Hybrid.
The move is central to PSA's three-year Podium 2012 initiative, which was launched in 2010 with the aim of both brands achieving high rankings in JD Power's annual survey, the 'bible' of customer satisfaction in the automotive sector.
The programme kicks off in the middle of May and will run until 22 June, targeting all customer-facing staff, including dealers and sales managers. Three weeks of the training - for Midlands and South delegates - will take place at Pinley House, Peugeot's Coventry headquarters. Delegates in the North and Scotland will attend events at the Harrogate Convention Centre.
Phillip Price, network training manager at PSA, said: "It is of huge importance with both brands launching new models this year that we ensure that all dealer-facing staff are customer-focused and ready for the challenges ahead."
