HRG won the account after a tender process involving other  agencies. The firm becomes responsible for providing VW with services including travel and hotel provision in China.

Gu Chunfeng, Shanghai Volkswagen Automotive's general procurement manager, said: "The team’s extensive local knowledge, all-round experience and flexibility in proposing effective solutions were winning elements that marked our decision to award HRG with the contract to manage our travel programme."

Harald Weber-Liel, HRG China's general manager, added: "I strongly believe that with our core travel management services and additional VIP service offerings we will realise Shanghai Volkswagen Automotive’s travel requirements.

"Our team will be working closely with them to strategise a fully integrated, seamless travel programme tailored to their specific needs."
