The GBTA event will take place at the Hungarian capital's Congress and World Trade Center. Its central theme will be globalisation and customised service delivery.

Paul Tilstone, GBTA’s European managing director, said: "The whole event has been designed to allow delegates to tailor their whole experience.

"Gone are the days when everybody is prepared to pay significant sums of money and time to hear the same content as everyone else. Delegates want to get specific information from their time at these events in an environment of their choosing. This mirrors the demands our delegates are facing from their internal and external customers within the industry."

The GBTA is also organising a number of tailored activities in the two days leading up the event, including three levels of certified training programmes, sector-specific benchmark groups and a best practice event.

Registration for the event opens today (8 March).
