Kerry Quinn has been appointed as the new operations director at the convention centre. She was formerly airport director at Cardiff Airport. 

Former general manager of operations Phil Pickett has been promoted to the role of project director for the new exhibition centre, which is due to open in autumn 2014.

Pickett will lead the multi-million pound development, which will provide a further 8,100m2 of exhibition space.
 
Lynsey Watson has been appointed as the new head of human resources, replacing John Barry who has emigrated to Australia after five years with the company

£14.5m The venue reported a £14.5m boost in annual turnover and a net profit of just under £250,000 for the year ending 31 March 2011.

900 The venue has hosted more than 900 events since opening in January 2008  

£500m It has also contributed over £500m economic benefit to the city since opening
