Round table discussions

The event, which took place in late January, was organised for 17 individuals from the luxury sector to network and share knowledge about the industry.

Round table discussions included '2012 and Beyond' and 'The Role of Social Media in the Luxury Markets’.

An after dinner speech was provided by Parag Khanna on 'The New Medici's’, with a performance from Incognito Artist's Geoff Sewell.

Prestigious attendees

Brands in attendance included Boucheron, Jaguar, Land Rover, Coutts, HSBC Private Bank, Ozwald Boateng, Bombardier and Garrards.

Guests were predominantly from the UK, but other delegates came from US and Canada and Switzerland. Team-building activities included skiing.

Aspirations

Exosphere's chief executive John Saunders said: "It was a tremendously successful event. All guests went away with improved knowledge and a new group of like-minded contacts. There is now plan to make this an annual or even bi-annual event."

Claudio Zemp, manager United Kingdom and Ireland at the Switzerland Convention & Incentive Bureau added: "The Wealth Summit was an ideal opportunity for us to show people within the luxury industry that Switzerland is the perfect place for their events as we match their aspirations on quality and exclusivity."
