Lord's to target corporate team building

Lord's Cricket Ground is launching corporate team-building packages for 2012 and has appointed Chillisauce, Accomplished Events, Blue Hat and ESC Events as its official team building partners.

The extensive range of venues and facilities within the ground will enable the four suppliers to offer corporate clients a wide variety of team building packages.

For example, access to the newly refurbished MCC Cricket Academy will allow companies to enjoy indoor cricket net sessions in a world-class training environment, as used by international players such as Andrew Strauss and Shane Warne.

Nick Kenton, meetings and events sales manager at Lord’s, said: "Lord’s Cricket Ground provides an ideal venue for team building events, combining an inspiring history alongside access to world-class facilities.  I am delighted with the four new suppliers that have been appointed to help us take team building to the forefront of our business in 2012."

The announcement follows Lord’s appointment of three new preferred AV suppliers for events - Aztec Event Services, Smyle and Fisher Productions – last week.
