Exosphere teams with influential speaker in new B2B foray

Exosphere chief executive John Saunders has revealed plans to grow and diversify the high-end travel consultancy, starting with a foray into the B2B events market - enlisting author and geo-strategist Dr Parag Khanna.

Exosphere, set up as a luxury travel consultancy in 2007, has launched an events division dealing with luxury brands, high wealth individuals and businesses with other divisions expected to follow soon.

Saunders hopes the plans will increase Exosphere's annual turnover from £1.1m last year to £2m this year. "Since its launch we have experienced year-on-year growth, but now we plan to expand, bringing new experiences on board," he said.

Khanna will produce content for events, with themes including innovation, energy and philanthropy.

"There’s no brochure and no set rules with Exosphere. Since it’s launch we have experienced year-on-year growth, but now we are planning to expand, bringing new experiences on board. We also plan to grow staff numbers this year," added Saunders.

The HSBC Private Bank Family Forum, which takes place in August, will provide an example of Exosphere’s new direction. The conference, which takes place in Gstaad, Switzerland, is put on for 100 high net worth individuals and their partners.
