The four partners, which have 100 years of event industry experience between them, has seven clients across four sectors including pharmaceutical and finance.
Speaking at the press launch event this morning, Collins said: "We’ve all done the big company thing and now want to focus on our new agency as a team of four, all of whom will be customer facing and focusing on putting our touch on it."
Collins, a former Eventia chairman, left his post as chairman of Universal Procon in April 2008, and initially set up Touch as a consultancy in 2010 to "put the passion back in making events creative and fun again."
Bender left Grass Roots last summer; Ford departed Universal Procon (now Universal World Events), where he was managing director, in June 2010, and Murphy used to run Universal’s US operations before joining Collins to run Touch.
The addition of heavyweights Bender and Ford makes Touch Associates one of the most significant agency launches in recent years. A further team of four will support the four partners.
The agency is also holding a launch event for 50 suppliers at Mews of Mayfair today. Bender said the fact the agency had managed to get support from so many suppliers was further testamanet to the reach of the four partners.
