HBAA names 2012 executive committee

HBAA has named Chris Peacock, co-founder and managing director of Conference Care, as chairman, with Zibrant's managing director Chris Parnham becoming vice chair.

Peacock was previously treasurer and vice-chairman of the HBAA, while Parnham has been involved with the HBAA executive committee since November 2010.

Peacock said, "I feel extremely privileged and excited to take up this role. I know from my association with the HBAA that it really is a powerhouse for best practice and that it continues to go from strength to strength based on the forging of strong relationships both within the organisation and externally.

"We will continue to equip our members with the tools for their business to grow, offer best advice in any new legislation that is planned and aim to become a key player in the development of future industry leaders."

Parnham added: "I am very pleased to have been appointed; it really is a great honour. I very much look forward to working with Chris Peacock and the new executive committee when I take up my appointment."

Peacock will develop the HBAA’s strategy as well as overseeing the executive committee members:

Peacock will make his inaugural speech to over 500 members at the HBAA’s Annual Dinner on January 13 2012 at the Hilton London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5.
