The Glasgow-based agency is targeting pharmaceuticals, accountants, charities and local authorities.

"We will specialise in corporate events but we are looking to achieve project management contracts within local authorities whom have not got the event expertise or enough core teams," McCauley told C&IT.

The agency currently consists of two full-time staff and a team of freelancers.

Targets

McCauley added: "We are not looking to expand our work force at the moment but we are looking to secure between 8-12 events this year and forecast a profit of between £50,000 to £60,000 this year.

"My most recent role at Glasgow Life in the newly built Riverside Museum really gave me the taste to start on my own, and Glasgow’s events industry has a gap in the market for project managers with a background such as mine."
