Knight has worked with Kuoni for 15 years, and was formerly project manager.

The head of operations role was created after head of events Anna Knowles left in February.

Knight said: "We now report directly into our head of events, who is based in Zurich, and I manage and oversee the operations side of the business in our London office."

Knight’s remit is to oversee the operational side of events, the team and all events as well as assisting the business development manager on new business.

New destinations

She added: "The plan for 2012 is to work even closer with our overseas Kuoni colleagues as well as introduce exciting new destinations into the Kuoni offering for incentives and conferences. Kuoni Events is also focused on development of strategic partnerships with brand and marketing agencies."
