How do you select a destination?
We have strong ties with Spain as it is the home of our company. In 2011 we chose Madrid for our Retail Recognition Event and next year we are heading to Barcelona's Hotel Arts. I usually help put destinations forward, but the big restriction is finding somewhere that can hold our staff numbers.
Which activities suit your staff base?
We have a mix of men and women and young and senior staff to target for our activities so we tend to offer a wide range.
How do you go about your incentive research?
We tend to look at a wide range of options and conduct site visits to assess their suitability for our staff profile.
What is your experience of event agencies?
Using Venues Event Management has been fantastic. They have taken care of both the Madrid and the upcoming Barcelona incentives, hitting all their targets. They demonstrated their ability to negotiate hard, reduce cost and add considerable value.
