C&IT and VVV triumph at Haymarket Business Awards

C&IT's sales and editorial teams picked up an award apiece at the Haymarket Business Media (HBM) Awards, revealed today, while sister brand Virtual Venue Visit (VVV) bagged three awards.

The C&IT sales team won Sales Team of the Year Award, while the editorial team picked up Outstanding Product – best use of design for the Etiquette Guides produced in conjunction with Fairmont Hotels and Resorts.

The Etiquette Guides were named one of the six outstanding products of the year created by HBM brands, which include PR Week, Event, Brand Republic and Campaign.

C&IT editor-in-chief Yasmin Arrigo said: "The team has worked tirelessly to produce a striking content-rich contemporary magazine and I am delighted that we have been recognised at this year’s Haymarket Business Awards for both commercial prowess and forward-thinking designs."

As traffic to VirtualVenueVisit.com continues to increase by 135% month-on-month the Online Video team behind the content of the site were delighted to receive the HBM "Best of the Best" and two other awards.

Alex Whitson who heads up the team, commented:  "This is a very exciting time for Virtual Venue Visit; traffic continues to increase, enquiries for venues are at an all time high and we are about to unveil our new website which will enable us to reach new audiences. It was a huge honour to be awarded the "Best of the Best" award by Haymarket amidst such stiff competition."
