Smirnoff and Google among brands at IAB Engage Conference

Google and Smirnoff were among the brands that attended the Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB) Engage Conference, hosted at the Mermaid Conference & Events Centre in London for its sixth year.

The annual IAB event, themed ‘Brand New Frontiers’, attracted 600 attendees from the digital advertising industry last month, and featured presentations from communications minister Ed Vaizey, Dan Cobley, MD of Google UK and Ireland, and Michelle Klein, VP of content, digital and communications for Smirnoff at Diageo.

The conference rounded off with a performance by comedian Dara O’Briain.

"The Mermaid’s recent installation of Max Wi-fi’s new Venue Wi-fi Service enabled delegates to experience enhanced connectivity, and allowed for the smooth live streaming of the conference onto the IAB website for those who could not attend," said IAB events manager Lizzie Randall.
