Will Broome, London Launch’s founder, said that the event had sparked much corporate interest, with representatives from brands including Coca-Cola, the Premier League, Goldman Sachs and the BBC registering to attend.
The event is being held at the offices of London Launch member and office supplier MWB Business Exchange on Thursday 24 November.
Daniel Ritterband, director of marketing and communications for London 2012 at the Greater London Authority will talk about how the UK capital will look and feel during the Games, outlining how brands that are not official sponsors can tap into the ‘buzz’.
BT business development and partnership director Jon Lane will talk about the logistics and communications challenges of internet and broadband, recounting his experiences at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics.
MWB, whose chief executive John Spencer will be presenting, is using the series of events to promote its office space to the conference and events market.
