Hilton London Metropole has appointed Rachel Stevenson as conference and events sales director.

Stevenson began her career working as a guest relations manager for Hilton London Metropole in 2004. Her recent successes include winning the World Irish Dancing Championships 2014 bid.

Stevenson will be accountable for supporting and developing fifteen staff to deliver the annual events revenue budget for the Hilton London Metropole.

She said: "I’m really looking forward to my new challenge with the Hilton London Metropole. It’s a great opportunity to build on an already successful hotel and to continue my journey through the Conference and Events sector."

The Hilton London Metropole features 1,054 bedrooms and meeting facilities for up to 3,000 attendees. The hotel has a total of 41 conference and meeting rooms and two conference suites for up to 1,600 delegates.
