The first of these events was a national meeting in Lisbon, Portugal for Lynx Optique staff from France, the Antilles islands and Poland. Taking place between 6 and 7 November, the event was aimed at communicating the chain's plans for 2012, sharing ideas and offering participants a chance to network.
The group of 120 delegates stayed at the Sana Lisboa Hotel and enjoyed a gala dinner with pre-dinner cocktails and Portuguese specialities on board six trams, followed by a sit-down meal at a 17th century palace in the Graca district.
Delegates also took part in a team-building event around the city, with the theme of 'optical illusions'. Participants were divided into 12 teams and given the tasks of answering questions and taking pictures of various sights around the city.
"We created an internal website to host information about the meeting, including details on flights and what to drink, eat and see in Lisbon," said Alexandra Leroy, project manager at Stratevent.
