Three Cineworld cinemas – Cineworld at the O2, Cineworld Haymarket and Cineworld West India Quay– join the De Vere Venues Preferred Partner Programme.

The venues cater for up to 776 delegates, opening up to host events including meetings, conferences, training and weddings.

Cineworld vice-president marketing Justin Skinner said: "This agreement marries our escapist cinema experience to a new and broad corporate customer audience. Corporate venue hire is a perfect fit for cinema as demand is usually ‘off-peak’; weekdays before 5pm during term time. We look forward to offering more people the opportunity to enjoy Cineworld’s excellent conferencing facilities."

"The Preferred Partner Programme continues to grow as more venues look to take advantage of the £300m of sales enquiries we receive every year," comments Tony Dangerfield, chief executive, De Vere Venues. "Our customers have asked us for premium auditorium space in central locations and we’ve delivered for them through this partnership."

Earlier this year De Vere Venues welcomed three further venues to the programme – The Studio at Manchester and Birmingham, and the Commonwealth Club in London. The De Vere Venues portfolio now stands at 35 venues located across the UK.
