Grass Roots' events and communications director Amanda Litzow has abruptly left the business after just nine months.

The agency’s chairman David Evans described the move as a "surprise" but added that it was "best to find out now before someone becomes embedded" in the business. He added that a new leadership structure would be announced in December.

Her departure follows that of Nick Bender, who left this summer to pursue other interests. A new structure was put in place that saw Des McLaughlin head up Grass Roots HBI, Charles Moyle lead the Live business, and Giselle Ripkin and Litzow lead the Fleet and Marlow offices respectively.
