Conference Partners wins science forum contract

Dublin-based Conference Partners has won a contract from the Office of the Chief Scientific Adviser in Ireland to plan and manage the Euroscience Open Forum (ESOF), an event expected to attract 5,000 delegates when it takes place in July 2012.

The forum will be attended by scientists, business leaders, policy-makers, researchers and scientific journalists from across the globe.

Nicola McGrane, Conference Partners’ managing director, said: "We are thrilled to be working in partnership with the Chief Scientific Adviser’s Office to raise the bar for ESOF 2012 and to be part of a team that will showcase our rich scientific heritage to the world."

Professor Patrick Cunningham, the Office's chief scientific adviser, added: "We are delighted to have Conference Partners on board as we work towards bringing ESOF 2012, one of Europe’s top science events, to Dublin next July.

"ESOF 2012 promises to be a fantastic event, and is already attracting some of the top international researchers."
