UBM portfolio director Jonny Sullens told C&IT that the show's biggest change will be its improved hosted buyer programme, which will reward corporates for booking more meetings.
"Visitors need to have a guaranteed outcome from attending the show. We're aiming to increase the number of meetings held from 1,000 to 5,000," he added.
The 2012 show will take place at a new location, Excel London, from 6-8 March.
"At the time of the show, we anticipate there will still be a lot of unanswered questions about the Olympics, which we plan to address in our education programme. 'Content, content, content' has been our mantra for the show," said Sullens.
He added that he is not so concerned with visitor numbers, and would rather focus on their experience and the quality of the exhibitors and the leads visitors gain.
