The company will complete what it is describing as a "strategic merger" next month, a move it said will help it reduce running costs and extend its services.

Simon Maddison, director of Planet Pursuits, said: "We’ve had good operational links with Simon Payne at Mind Adrenaline, who were one of the first companies to purchase a license for our innovative spy-based global team game, Spy-Inc.

"Mind Adrenaline have a great reputation and excellent client base, but have primarily concentrated on team development events, where as Planet Pursuits offers a much wider range of event management services."

Mind Adrenaline director Simon Payne will take on the role of business development manager of Spy-Inc Global and director of events London.

Planet Pursuits opened for business ten years ago offering hen and stag packages at its Purton House venue near Swindon. Most recently, the firm recently ran a staff event to celebrate the 125th birthday of lingerie brand Triumph International.
