Allianz is partnering with the Stress Management Society to host the conference for 70 staff and clients and will provide delegates with expert advice on how to tackle stress.
Now in its third year, the event will be held on 22 September, 2011 at Wotton House, Dorking, bringing together experts from a range of fields, including representatives from the Department of Health, the employers' forum on disability, Mind, and the Stress Management Society.
Allianz Insurance health and safety manager Banu Gajendran said: "Our Wellbeing Conference will provide essential advice on employee wellbeing to business leaders from across the region. We are increasingly being seen as a leader in this rapidly developing field and recognise that wellbeing is no longer an ‘optional extra’ for businesses, it’s a vital element to everyday working life."
Recent figures show that British businesses lose an estimated £26bn each year in sickness absence and lost productivity. The conference aims to address how businesses can save on these costs through employee wellbeing support.
