Sainsbury's, Lloyds and GSK among brands to make C&IT Awards shortlist

Events for top brands including BMW, Santander, Volvo, RSA, Barcardi and AstraZeneca are among those to have made the shortlist for the inaugural C&IT Excellence Awards.

Following a day of intense judging last week, where a panel of 18 judges chaired by Jack Morton's president EMEA Julian Pullan debated over 100 entries, C&IT can reveal the names of the companies that fought off tough competition to make the shortlist (below).

With such strong contenders, C&IT's first awards event, to be held at the Natural History Museum on 4 November, is shaping up to be an exciting evening.

The awards categories are divided up into C&I Business Excellence, C&I Sectors of Excellence, C&I Events of Excellence and C&I Figures and Teams of Excellence. There will also be one overall Excellence Grand Prix Award.

Keep checking www.citmagazine.com in the run up to the big night to find out which events have been shortlisted in each individual category.
