A spokeswoman for Center Parcs said that Microsoft booked the venue after seeing some of the refurbishment work, which as reported in C&IT yesterday has just been completed

The Venue, which is set within 400 acres of woodland at Longleat Forest, now boasts upgraded AV equipment, a new flexible walling system and improved decor including carpets, curtains and artwork. New state-of-the-art kitchen facilities mean that the venue's dining capacity has grown from 300 to 400.

Center Parcs hopes that its £100,000 revamp will pull in increasing volumes of corporate events business for the venue, which hosted smoothies brand Innocent for its annual Nature Weekend for 250 staff in June 2010.
