CCD celebrates first year in business

The Convention Centre Dublin (CCD) has celebrated its first year of business, in which it hosted more than 300 events and welcomed 170,000 visitors.

The venue has secured a number of conferences and meetings up until 2015, including the International Water Association World Congress and the International Congress on Accident & Emergency medicine.  

"It has been an honour to be part of the dedicated and passionate team at the CCD over the past 12 months," said Nick Waight, chief executive, CCD. "Our goal is to be the best conference centre in Europe by 2014."
