Universal World Events senior sales and marketing & CSR executive Vicky Pratt said that all signs indicate that the incentive travel market is picking up throughout the industry.

"We have been monitoring enquiry levels for incentive trips and found that they were up 300% on this time last year. We’re not traditionally looked at as an incentive travel provider, so these results are encouraging," she added.

Universal World Events, formed after a merger between Universal Procon and World Events in March 2010, also reported recent business wins in the pharmaceutical sector.

The company's sales and marketing director, Mark Saxby, said: "We are delighted that, following the merger, the benefits of an enlarged and focused organisation are really beginning to see our offer resonate in the market. It is also really pleasing to see business successes in so many of our global offices."

Universal World Events client list features corporates including Astellas Pharma Europe.
