Lewis-Smith assumes this role, in addition to her responsibilities as chief operating officer, after more than eight years at BESydney. Previously she held the roles of general manager marketing and director of sales.
BESydney is currently recruiting for a permanent CEO following Hutchison’s decision to step down.
For the years 2011 to 2017, BESydney has so far secured 136 business events for Sydney that will attract more than 160 000 delegates, who will spend more than 809 000 days in the city. This business will generate in excess of $600 million in economic impact for New South Wales.
