Châteaux & Hôtels Collection has over 560 hotels and restaurants in France. Exclusive Hotels has more than 160 hotels, 90 of which are situated in and around Paris.

The new chain, which will be officially named in September, will feature five branded groups of hotels; Prestige Establishments, Homes of Character, Exclusive Hotels, Association of Inns. The restaurants will be branded the Delicious Collection.

Some 80 employees will centrally operate the chain, the board of which will be chaired by chef and supervisory board president Alain Ducasse, supported by brand development manager Régis Bulot.

The executive board will be chaired by chief executive and co-founder of Alain Ducasse Entreprise Laurent Plantier, and composed of general manager Xavier Labrousse and deputy general director Timothée de Roux.

Plantier said: "With this merger, the brand will offer to its clients a unique and varied collection and become one of the most powerful players in each section, all at the service of independent professionals."

The chain, composed of three to five-star properties, will feature 714 hotels and restaurants worldwide: 600 hotels in France, 66 restaurants and 48 hotels abroad and a total of 20,000 rooms.
